Adam started a career in wildlife filmmaking in 1998 when he joined the BBC Natural History Unit to work on the Wild Africa series. For the next eleven years he went on to work on a wide range of award winning programs from Big Cat Diary to Britain Goes Wild through to Wildlife on One and Life. Adam left the NHU in August 2009 to start work on the Grasslands and Freshwater episodes of the new Wild Planet: North America series.
