Alicia Decina
Alicia Decina began her filmmaking career at National Geographic Television & Film, Natural History Unit, where she worked on numerous award-winning films. Following her time in the NHU, she helped develop original programming for Discovery’s Production Group and Animal Planet. She then moved to Tiger/Tigress Productions and after a coordinating producer role on an Animal Planet series, she decided to relocate to Bristol, England. Her work to date has taken her around the world filming in locations as diverse as the rainforest of Asia and Central America to the dry and desiccated badlands of North America and Australia.
After a series of freelance field producing jobs for the BBC and National Geographic, Alicia landed a development role on the Wild Planet: North America series and is now dedicated to the Deserts and Freshwater episodes.
