WHL was founded in September 2008 by Keith Scholey, a former Head of the BBC’s Natural History Unit (1998 – 2002) Controller of the BBC Specialist Factual departments (Science, History, Business, Arts, Religion and Natural History 2002- 2006) and Controller of all BBC Factual production department (2006-2008). He is currently also directing a feature film, African Cats for Disneynature.
Huw Cordey is the senior creative producer for WHL who recently series produced the BBC/ Discovery South Pacific series and produced programmes for Planet Earth, as well as other landmark series including Life of Mammals, Andes to Amazon and Land of the Tiger.
